Into The Wild

I watched this film last night and absolutely loved it. I had a feeling going in that I would like it but I didn't imagine I would love it. Truly inspiring. It's films like this that make me feel worthless as an inspiring screenwriter and as a human being. Now to read the book because that can only be better.

P.S. Jena Malone has crept up into my top 5 fairly fast...Kirsten is in jeopardy.

50 Eggs, Challengers?

I can do it.

I know I can at least do better than the jackass crew:

Growing Old

Today I had to help move one of my great Aunt's from one assisted living home to another. My Grandma is the youngest of 13 children so I have dealt with this type of stuff my entire life. However, it is never easy to walk into an old folks home. Its just the creepiness of expecting to here the Price Is Right theme song as soon as you walk in and than to totally have it happen- I don't know, it just gets to me. I totally felt like Dee from "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" at points during the day. It was tough. This was one of my favorite Aunts though. She was so crazy. She has kind of lost it, but still, she saw my dad and asked, "Hey Al, lets go get a beer." That made me smile for the rest of the day.

I don't want to live past thirty, and I am entirely serious about that.
